Tags, comments and feedback

Tags

Tags are labels you can give catalogue records to group them together.

Sign into your account to add a tag.

To add a tag

Sign in to your account. Run your search and when you have found an item you would like to add a tag to, choose Tags from the options on the left-hand side of the screen.

Unless you have already signed in, you will be prompted to sign in to the catalogue. You can then add your own new tag or choose from one already created. Your tags will be visible for others to use.

Searching for tags

Click on the 3 dots next to Help in the catalogue top menu to open the screen with the link to Tags.

A box will open – choose Tags to go to a list of existing tags. Choose a tag to view the items attached to the tag.

You can also search for user tags from the main search box.

Comments and feedback

To suggest changes to the catalogue and report any issues you find, please let us know by using the Feedback tool. Just click the exclamation point icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen and fill in the details.

When you submit feedback, we'll get the URL (website address) for the webpage you're on. If you have feedback about a specific catalogue record, make sure you have that open when you select the icon.

If your feedback relates to searching, have the search results in view when you click the Feedback tool.

Why do we ask for your email?

Although entering your email address is optional, we would encourage you to include it since this provides us with more information in the feedback message, such as the operating system and browser you were using at the time. This can help us to replicate or troubleshoot problems.

Will I get a response?

No. While we follow up every piece of feedback, we will not send you a personal response. If you need a response to your comment or question, please visit SLV Feedback or Ask a Librarian instead.
