The studios are free to use. To get started you need to:
1. become a Library member 2. book an induction for the studio you wish to use 3. after completing your induction, book the studio (book via the tabs below)

About the studios The studios are located in the Information Centre, between the Create Quarter and the Pauline Gandel Children’s Quarter. Each studio has 3 sessions available to book per day (10.30am, 1pm and 3.30pm), which last 2 hours each. Studio 2 offers extended sessions of up to 4.5 hours. One booking is available per person per day. Please note that you must bring your own external storage in order to save your work. You must be 16 years of age or older to use the Library's studios. Studio 2 Studio 2 has equipment for recording, editing and mixing and has a maximum capacity of four people across its two rooms.
Studio 2a Equipment in this room includes:

Studio 2b Room 2b can act as either an independent room or as live room/recording room for 2a.

Studio 4 (Podcast Studio) Studio 4 (Podcast Studio) Studio 4 is perfect for recording podcasts, panel discussions or group interviews, and contains a quick and simple recording system.
This studio has a maximum capacity of six people.
