Resources on our website

The Library’s Search & discover section is your go-to, one-stop destination for research tools.

It contains:

  • Copyright free image search: search nearly 200,000 out-of-copyright images in our collection that you’re welcome to use in your essays or remix and recreate for creative projects.
  • Research guides: discover helpful resources for every aspect of the VCE syllabus.
  • Databases: access our extensive range of subscription ejournals, databases, ebooks and other eresources.
  • Catalogue: explore our collection of ephemera, artworks, audio and video files, digitised copies of works, music scores, books and more. Helpful hint: when searching, start broad then refine using right hand filters. For example, search for ‘John Batman’ not ‘John Batman’s diary’.
