Hear firsthand from last year's top performing VCE Extended Investigation students at Top Talks 2026.
Throughout the day, students will receive valuable insights with a showcase of last year’s outstanding extended investigations, helping boost their confidence and prepare them for the year ahead.
Schedule:
- 10.30am–12pm: Top Talks 2026 (in-person and online)
- 1–2pm: Ask a Librarian webinar (online)
Four VCE Extended Investigation students will take the stage at the State Library Victoria Theatrette to present their original research. Following the presentations, audience members will also be invited to participate in a Q&A panel session to learn more about their research topics, methods and experiences.
Please note: bookings for whole classes are welcome as well as bookings for individual teachers, students and families of the speakers.
Afterwards, join us for a free Ask a Librarian webinar. In this interactive webinar, students will learn top research tips from our expert Librarians. Students will dig into the Library’s online catalogue, exploring our extensive range of free databases and subject-specific resources – all of which can be accessed from home, anytime, anywhere.
