Relax, read, and make the most of the warmer weather this summer on the Library’s forecourt!

Whether you want to pick up a book and relax in one of our beanbags on the Library forecourt, show off your chess skills with a game on our large chessboards, or or soak up the sun on the Library’s lawn as you watch the world go by, there is something for everyone.

Looking to get a break from the summer heat? Head inside the Library to explore our iconic reading rooms and spaces.

Enjoy Library on the Lawn from Wednesday 17 January to Saturday 3 February.

Please note: Library on the Lawn will not run on Sundays.
