Building the Sidney Myer Music Bowl
In 1956 plans were unveiled to build a new outdoor concert venue in the heart of Melbourne. It would be influenced by the ambience of Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl, and consist of two massive masts supporting a lightweight aluminium shell.
