This online workshop is specially designed to build on the core literacy skills required to help distinguish between reliable and unreliable information. Students will develop their critical literacy skills, as they explore the idea that not everything they read and see online is fact.
Students will:
- Understand why it's important to be a critical and creative thinker in today's world
- Apply core literacy skills in order to think critically about information
- Compare characteristics of reliable and unreliable websites.
This program is best-suited to students in Years 3-6, but can be adapted for Foundation to Year 2 higher ability students.

Size of booking: A maximum of 90 students can be allocated to one booking time and program via the online booking system.

Funding opportunity for low-ICSEA schools
Schools with an ICSEA ranking below 1000 may be eligible for our Access Education Funding to support the cost of attending a facilitated program at State Library Victoria.
