It’s never too early to start reading and sharing a love of books.

Join us for a fun, interactive session of stories, songs and rhymes on Wednesdays 10.30am, Fridays 11.30am and Saturdays 10.30am.

For children aged 18 months and under, their parents and carers.

Stay and explore the Pauline Gandel Children’s Quarter or find a book to read together with your child.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the Library. State Library Victoria is a Child Safe Organisation.

On the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, a Maternal and Child Health nurse will be available after Baby Bounce to offer information on family and community services offered by the City of Melbourne.

Please note the nurse is able to offer information of a general nature only.

Pauline Gandel Children’s Quarter, supported by Gandel Philanthropy, is a purpose-built space for children and families to read, learn and play, with an associated program of activities.
