Sharing Stories: Strengthening Communities

In partnership with WRAD – Western Region Drug and Alcohol Centre, the Warrnambool Library will deliver a program to address the very high incidences of alcohol and gambling addiction, which are amongst the highest in the state.

The program will support a small cohort of people with addiction issues and their families to tell and record their stories to destigmatise addiction and raise community awareness. The program links to the Warrnambool City Council Health and Wellbeing Plan and activates the new library and its recording studios and website.
