About this video

Watch contestant Brendan Reed Dennis perform his winning poem, 'Peter Piper', in the Victorian final of the 2014 Poetry Slam.

After the rounds of hotly contested heats, Victoria's finest spoken-word performers came together at the Library in September 2014 to battle it out for the title of the state's best slam poet.

Performances were judged by a panel randomly selected from the audience.
