Katrina discusses the importance of book cradles in ensuring that the irreplaceable works from the Library’s heritage collection are kept in the best condition possible during the display period.

Meanwhile, the ever affable and skilled Ian takes us through the precise and detailed steps of a building a book cradle, of which the Library produces up to 100 every year.
