Submit a program or exhibition idea

State Library Victoria presents audience programs and exhibitions aligned to our vision and mission.

We welcome proposals for public programs, events and exhibitions with relevance to our audiences, spaces and mission. If you would like to submit a proposal for potential inclusion, please download and fill out the Library programs and exhibitions proposal submission form (PDF and Word versions linked below).

After completing the proposal form, please email the form and any relevant supporting materials to proposals@slv.vic.gov.au with the following subject line: Program proposal and your organisation name (if applicable).

Things to consider when proposing a program or exhibition idea:

• We recommend that all program and event ideas are provided with a six-month lead time and exhibition ideas submitted with an 18-month lead time.
• We review opportunities in a monthly cycle and will attempt to respond to you within this timeframe, depending on when your proposal is received.
• Refer to State Library Victoria’s Strategic Plan for strategic alignment of your idea or proposal.
