Collection & Conservation Fund

Nearly 2 million people visit State Library Victoria each year, and 4.9 million people visit us online.

As our community grows, the need to provide online access to our collections and services increases.

The State Collection is the heart of our Library and consists of more than 5.1 million items – including paintings, manuscripts, sculptures and more.

The work of our conservation and preservation teams ensures that we keep this collection widely available to the people of Victoria.

The Collection and Conservation Fund supports critical work to expand public access to collections and ensure Victorian’s can rely on the best resources now, and into future.

The Fund will enable acquisition, conservation, preservation, digitisation and description. Your generous contribution will help grow, preserve and share this irreplaceable collection for future generations to enjoy, and ensure Victoria’s extraordinary stories continue to be told today and tomorrow.
