Every year, thousands of people research their family history at State Library Victoria, bringing us closer to the lives and stories of those who have gone before.

Share your family history discoveries and shine a light on the stories of everyday Australians.

Submissions will be reviewed and selected stories may be featured on the Library’s digital platforms. The Library will contact you prior to sharing your submission and may edit submissions for clarity or length before publication.

By submitting, you confirm that you have the right to share this information and grant the Library permission to use your submission in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 

Personal information will be handled in line with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).
