Chief executive officers & presidents

The chief librarian is also CEO of the Library. Their role is to lead the organisation in implementing appropriate strategies, services and programs that have been agreed to by the Library Board of Victoria.

The president of the Board's role is to oversee and drive the Board's decisions by ensuring they contribute to the cultural, educational, social and economic development of Victorians.
