The John & Myriam Wylie Foundation's Victoria Gallery will transform one of the Library's most significant spaces into a new exhibition gallery.

Peeling back the layers of history to reveal the original architecture, the project will upgrade the room's function to operate as a modern, world-class gallery.

The items to be exhibited in the stunning space will include the Library's great treasures, celebrating and telling the story of the state of Victoria over the past 180 years.

The Victoria Gallery is part of the Library's Vision 2020 redevelopment, an ambitious program that will refurbish the Library's incomparable heritage galleries and create innovative new spaces for visitors.
