A tour of the Riley & Ephemera Collection

Did you know that along with books, maps, realia and much more, the Library also collects political ephemera?

In the video above, Librarians Tim Hogan and Kylie Best provide a glimpse into the Library's vast collection of ephemera that spans the last century of political activity in Victoria.

The Riley & Ephemera Collection has preserved the here-today gone-tomorrow materials that drove historic moments in our history. Follow a whirlwind tour through flyers, badges and posters the Library has collected from protest movements big and small, local and global.

Donate your election ephemera

We'd love to receive political brochures, election pamphlets, how-to-vote cards and candidate posters to add to our Riley and ephemera collection – from current, forthcoming or past elections.
