The Library Files: conserving a historic theatrical poster
In this episode of The Library Files, paper conservator Albertine Hamilton assesses a large theatrical poster that once belonged to actor George Coppin.
The poster advertises a play titled 'Little Jim' and was printed in Dublin.
Albertine also introduces us to the important work being done in the Conservation Lab, assessing and stabilising items so they're ready for digitisation.
