The State Library of Victoria is pleased to announce the 2012-13 Creative Fellowships awarded to researchers, writers, artists and scholars who will make creative use of the Library’s rich collections over the next year.

Ramona Koval, writer, broadcaster and former presenter of  ABC Radio National’s The Book Show, will deliver the 2012 Redmond Barry Lecture:  By the book – a reader’s guide to life.

Love and Devotion: From Persia and Beyond was developed by the State Library of Victoria in partnership with the Bodleian Libraries and University of Oxford. It is the largest exhibition of illustrated Persian manuscripts in Australia’s history.
