Join Andrew Robb AO, Minister for Trade and Investment, as he argues the case for keeping markets open to trade and investment, and staying the course of market-led reforms.

'The bedrock of Australia’s economic success is our openness to international trade, foreign investment, new technology and skilled migration. The incontrovertible evidence in Australia and throughout the world is that open markets create wealth for all citizens.' – Andrew Robb AO

This event is part of Big ideas under the dome, a thought-provoking lecture series that includes leading thinkers in the arts, culture, social justice, science and public policy to discuss, debate and reflect on the big ideas and issues of our time. The series was established to celebrate the centenary of the Library’s domed reading room that has been a symbol of inspiration, creativity and ideas since 1913.

Following the lecture Walkley Award winning journalist, Jill Singer will interview Minister Robb about the content of his presentation.

Limited media passes available.
