Dr Robyn Ballinger

Dr Robyn Ballinger is a writer and historian who has a particular interest in tracing the history of how people interact with land and water in the unpredictable semi-arid climate of northern Victoria, where she lives. During her fellowship, Dr Ballinger used the La Trobe Reading Room to research the archival collections of three key figures: Rev EC De Garis, AS Kenyon and LR East.

The research went towards her book manuscript, Conquering aridity: the nature and culture of water in Victoria's north.
