Private Laidlaw’s diary covers the period April 1915 to May 1915, and is part of a larger collection spanning 1914 to 1984. Laidlaw writes of his time with the 2nd Field Ambulance on the Aegean island of Lemnos and in the Dardanelles at Cape Helles and Anzac Cove, Gallipoli.
