Secret life of books – La Trobe Reading Room

After the last patron leaves and the last light is extinguished what takes place inside the State Library? On the hundreds of shelves sit thousands of books, covers closed, pages bound tightly together, words and images pressed against one another, sharing their stories, waiting for the next day’s opening, or are they……?

#CreateArtHistory – Library facade

A projection mapping celebrating and presenting the works of the finalists and winning artists of the #CreateArtHistory competition. White Night and The Electric Canvas combine to animate this extraordinary collection across the façade of the State Library, bringing images of magic, wonderful creatures and beautiful botany to life.
