If you love a story, you’ve come to the right place! Our Storytime sessions showcase classic stories and new works from Victorian and Australian authors – along with your favourite songs and rhymes. Our autumn program will be themed around ‘journeys’ – from adventures across the seas, to exploring your own backyard. Plus, if STEM is your little one's enjoyment, you should come along on the third Wednesday of each month for a special Science Storytime where we will don the lab coat and get a bit experimental.
Storytime at the Library
Join your favourite Library storytellers at the Pauline Gandel Children's Quarter every Wednesdays from 10.30am-11.00am.
Please note: Storytime onsite sessions from Monday, 5 December will no longer require bookings.
Pauline Gandel Children's Quarter, supported by Gandel Foundation, is a purpose-built space for children and families to read, learn and play, with an associated program of activities.
Storytime online
Watch your favourite Library personalities from the comfort of your home on the first Wednesday of each month (1/3, 5/4 and 3/5). Each online session will include AUSLAN interpretation, and end with an engaging activity for you to try at home.
Please note: Storytime online is only available as a livestream, and cannot be viewed after the session.
