Join us for Storytime every Wednesday and Thursday for fun with stories, songs and rhymes brought to life by the Library's Chief Storyteller.
Get creative as you support your child to make their own book-inspired whatchamacallit, thingamijig or doohickey. Stay and explore Play Pod or read a book of your own!
Share this fun session with children aged three to five.
Please note: There will be no Storytime session this Wednesday 25 April due to ANZAC Day public holiday
Storytime is held twice weekly:
- Wednesdays 11.30am-12pm
- Thursdays 10.30-11am.
Please note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the Library. State Library Victoria is a Child Safe Organisation.
Join in from home
You can now join in the fun of Storytime even if you can’t make it to the Library.
On the third Thursday of each month, we broadcast Storytime live from the Library. The recording of this live broadcast will be hosted on the Kindergarten IT website for a month from the date of the initial broadcast.
Note for Library visitors: by attending the session on this day, you consent to be photographed and/or recorded. If you have any concerns, please speak to a staff member or volunteer on the day. The next session to be broadcast will be Thursday 19 April.
