Every lunch hour, on the State Library’s forecourt, Songs at lunch offers up a diverse showcase of musical talent, from well-known and loved contemporary Song Men and Women to emerging songwriters and musicians.

Songs at lunch is presented by Yirramboi: the first festival created, choreographed, produced, directed and performed by Indigenous artists.
Yirramboi is a ten-day festival running from 5 to 14 May, celebrating the diversity and creativity of 60,000 years of Aboriginal culture through 60 unique events including dance, music, visual art, theatre, film and talks in Melbourne’s laneways, public spaces and venues.
