Melbourne Writers Festival is back for 2022 celebrating epic stories and grand ambitions.

The Library is proud to partner with Melbourne Writers Festival as a major venue, with 75 unique events taking place over three days in the Conversation Quarter, Create Quarter, Pauline Gandel Children's Quarter, Isabelle Fraser Room and Village Roadshow Theatrette.

Sessions at the Library include acclaimed novelists Eliza Henry-Jones, Julia Baird and Hannah Kent, plus international authors Sarah Moss and Abbas Nazari.

For the younger bookworms there's YA Day on Saturday 10 September, bringing together some of the best young adult writers in Australia, plus a whole weekend of fun, free programming for families 10–11 September in the Pauline Gandel Children's Quarter.

View the program and book your tickets on the Melbourne Writers Festival website.
