Make the most of the final days and nights of summer with our Library on the Lawn festival.

We’ll have live music, comedy, workshops, roving performances, face painting and other free family-friendly outdoor events activities over three weekends in February and March.

See the full program below. Bookings are not required, and events are suitable for all ages unless specified.

Friday 18 February

Forecourt stage

12.30pm – 12.45pm: Welcome to Country

1.00pm – 1.30pm: Djirri Djirri dance workshop

1.45pm - 2.30pm: DJ Andrew McClelland

3.30pm – 4.15pm: Literary yoga with Little Warriors Yoga

4.45pm – 5.30pm: Book perfect match with Readings State Library

6.30pm – 7.15pm: Performance by Yorta Yorta musician and composer Allara

7.45pm – 8.30pm: Musical comedy by Jude Perl

Planning your visit

State Library Victoria is a Child Safe Organisation. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Visitors to the Library over 18 years of age must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be required to provide proof of vaccination, either with a digital certificate linked to the Service Victoria app or a printed copy of their vaccination certificate with identification.
