Join pioneering artist Lucy McRae and computer-human interaction researcher Dr Niels Wouters as they reflect on the imperfections of artificial intelligence.

McRae’s work speculates on the future of human existence by exploring the limits of the body, beauty, biotechnology and the self. Wouters developed the research behind McRae’s sci-fi installation Perfection: a biometric mirror, which uses computer algorithms to show you your mathematically perfect face and reveal hidden psychological traits.Perfection: a biometric mirror is on display at State Library Victoria 25–30 September.
