Discover the treasures from State Library Victoria’s collection of more than 5 million objects! What do they do and where did they come from? Inspired by these objects, participants will create characters, settings and rules to their own worlds.

Facilitated by 100 Story Building.

This event is for children aged 5–8, their parents and carers. Programs for this age group will be monthly. Find out more on our What’s On page.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the Library. State Library Victoria is a Child Safe Organisation.

Pauline Gandel Children’s Quarter, supported by Gandel Philanthropy, is a purpose-built space for children and families to read, learn and play, with an associated program of activities.
