Every invention has a story, and every child can be an inventor!
In this hands-on workshop, kids turn a problem, need or desire from their own lives into something they can create.
Run by Girls Invent, ‘My invention, my story’ will connect kids with their powers of observation and innovation to create a prototype of an invention uniquely their own.
Session one (10am–11.15am): for girls and gender diverse children aged 6–12
Session two (1pm–2.15pm): for all children aged 6–12
Please note: One parent or carer must attend with their child/children for the duration of the onsite program.
Presented by City of Melbourne, Melbourne Knowledge Week 2021 will be held from 26 April to 2 May with a diverse range of events, workshops and performances, inspiring Melburnians to share, learn, and to ideate together.
