About Benjamin Law

Benjamin Law is a journalist, columnist, TV screenwriter and author of The family Law (2010), Gaysia: adventures in the queer east (2012) and Quarterly Essay 67: Moral panic 101 (2017). The family Law is now an award-winning SBS TV series that he created and co-writes.

About Astrid Edwards

Astrid Edwards is the host and co-founder of The Garret. Astrid teaches professional writing at RMIT University and serves as Vice Chair of the Committee of Management at Writers Victoria. She is also Director of Strategy at Bad Producer Productions, a bespoke podcast company, and comedy podcast Childproof. She is a National Advocate for MS Australia and blogs about chronic illness under the pseudonym LadywithMS.
