Join researcher Kacey Sinclair to uncover the stories and perspectives of racially diverse women in colonial Australia. Women of the colonial era are often stereotyped as ex-convicts, Irish domestic servants, or genteel ladies accompanying their husbands. But colonial women of colour, including Indigenous women and Australian women of the African and Indian diasporas, have extraordinary stories that can help reshape our understanding of Australian history.
