Join curators Des Cowley and Anna Welch for a special tour of the Mirror of the world: books and ideas exhibition.

View rare, beautiful and historically significant books in our Rare Books Collection, from Audubon's Birds of America to 1950s pulp fiction and contemporary works of art and design.

Located in the galleries overlooking the magnificent La Trobe Reading Room, this exhibition celebrates the unique place of books in our hearts and minds.
