This April, State Library Victoria is hosting Code Camp, a special school holiday program where participants can build their very own iPhone or Android app!
Code Camp has already taught more than 10,000 students in Australia in Years K-7, and will be running their Spark program at the Library for students in Years 2–6.
About Code Camp: Spark
Dates: Wednesday 5 – Friday 7 April 2017 (three-day workshop)
Times: 9am–3.30pm (drop-off from 8.30am, pick up until 4pm)
Cost: $350 for three days.
Spark is an introductory coding workshop for students in Years 2-6.
More fun than hunting for Pokemon, students will learn coding to create and build their very own app.
Logic, computational thinking, user experience, creativity, problem solving and building apps and games are all covered in this three-day experience.
Please note: Spark workshops begin at 9am, which is before the Library opens to the public. Please meet on the Library front steps to be let in to the building.
