Join us for a lively panel conversation about the centenary of Australian animation, MC'd by Dr Dan Torre from RMIT School of Media and Communication, with guests:

  • Phillip Adams, presenter of ABC RN Late Night Live, author and film maker; 
  • Malcolm Turner, co-director of the Melbourne International Animation Festival and a 2014 Creative Fellow at the Library, where he has been researching the centenary of Australian animation; and
  • Deborah Szapiro, award-winning producer, curator and academic.

This event will celebrate the launch of the Australian animation journal.
