The search is on for Australia's 2018 poetry slam champion!

Cheer on our finalists as they speak, scream, howl, whisper or even sing their poems, stories, lyrics or monologues in this electric live event where the audience is the judge.

Two finalists from each heat will compete in the Victorian state final, with the winner and runner-up competing at the national final in Sydney  for a prize pack that includes guest appearances at local and international literary festivals.

The Victorian state final will be hosted by Joel McKerrow, award-winning writer, speaker, community arts workers and one of Australia’s most successful internationally touring performance poets.
