Does your child love books, drawing and dinosaurs? If so, we have the perfect school holiday activity for you!
Author, illustrator and former zoologist Andrew Plant is fascinated by many animals throughout history, but his favourite - are dinosaurs. He’s even been on a scientific expedition to China to study the fossils of feathered dinosaurs!
Andrew loves bringing the prehistoric to life through his art, and has contributed to over 140 books and magazines. He’s the creator of Could a tyrannosaurus play table tennis? and the illustrator of Living fossils: clues to the past and the Ancient animals series.
Join us online for a creative storytelling workshop and some prehistoric fun!
The workshop at 11am is suitable for children ages 5-8, and the workshop at 1pm is suitable for children ages 9-12. Both workshops also include a special dinosaur drawing session!
This program is supported by Gandel Philanthropy. Pauline Gandel Children's Quarter, also supported by Gandel Philanthropy, is a purpose-built space for children and families to read, learn and play, with an associated program of activities
