15 students per school (onsite), or classrooms (online)
Victorian primary school students of today have the power to change the future in our new series, 'Big Ideas for Young Minds'.
About this event
Our full-day 'Climate Change Summit for Schools' will give students the opportunity to learn about, discuss and share perspectives on one of the biggest issues facing our world today. With like-minded peers, they will engage in panel discussions, hands-on workshops and an introduction to researching climate change at the Library.
Please note: the onsite component of this program is now booked out.
However, your class can join us via livestream for the morning session (10am-11am), where students can hear from experts in the field of climate change and youth activism. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions and explore how they can help make a difference to the future of our planet. Accompanying online resources will be sent to all schools that book to attend online.
To register to attend the livestream, please book a ticket for your school, and we will email you the link before the event.
Please note: transport subsidies may be available for schools with an ICSEA of less than 1000. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
