The State Library of Victoria congratulates the recipients of the 2013 AGL Shaw Summer Research Fellowships.

Three $1200 AGL Shaw Summer Research Fellowships have been awarded to the following students enrolled at a Victorian university who are entering 4th year honours, or engaged in their first postgraduate degree or diploma.

Named for eminent historian Emeritus Professor Alan George Lewers Shaw AO, these annual Summer Research Fellowships help honours or postgraduate university students pursue their research projects in any scholarly discipline, while making strong use of the Library collections. Fellows are selected by the CEO and State Librarian on the advice of a panel of senior staff.

Successful applicants are required to:

•           make significant use of the resources of the State Library of Victoria

•           spend their research time at the State Library of Victoria

•           provide a brief written report of their fellowship.
