Centenary of WWI Fellowship

Soldiers marching down Collins Street Melbourne during World War I

From 2014 to 2017, the Library offered a specialist fellowship for historians and researchers wanting to explore the Library's extensive collection on WWI (1914–18) and its immediate aftermath.

The Library's collections in this field include large numbers of unique diaries, correspondence, newspapers, photographs, ephemera and books.

The fellowship carried a grant of $15,000 and was for a period of three months full time, or longer if undertaken in a part-time capacity.
