Join us from 7pm on Saturday 22 February for an all-night celebration of arts and culture!
- See the Library’s facade come alive with beautiful projections and illuminations.
- Step into our famous domed reading room as it is transformed into an amazing fusion of science and art. Showcasing the work of BAFTA and Emmy award-winning artist Drew Berry and composer Franc Tétaz, this spectacular projection of biomedical animation, titled Molecular Kaleidoscope, will transform the dome into a giant, 40-metre virus. This mind-blowing experience promises to be unforgettable!
- Emerge from the dome into our beautiful Cowen Gallery for a stroll among our gorgeous artworks.
- Be the first to enjoy a free preview of our new exhibition Rome: Piranesi's vision.
Readings at the State Library will be open til midnight on 22 February. This is a family-friendly program, suitable for people of all ages.
Visit the White Night Melbourne website for more information and to view the full program.
