Every Easter the Great Ocean Road is inundated by cars stacked with surfboards and the world’s best surfing talent, all heading to the Bells Beach Rip Curl Pro. This pilgrimage has become an Easter tradition for thousands who have flocked to the coast for over fifty years to watch the world’s top surfers take on the powerful swells.

Join curator Craig Baird from Australian National Surfing Museum to discover the history behind the world’s longest running surfing competition, from the development of innovative surfboard designs to prize money parity for female competitors.
