Watch the thrilling performances of the winner and runner-up of the 2019 Victorian final of Australian Poetry Slam.

Zaynab Farah from Dandenong won the Victorian final for her quizzical performance on how we distort the complex identities of others into something more familiar.

Runner-up (and 2018 winner) wāni performs a piece on feeling okay about being a work in progress.

The winner and runner-up were selected by a panel of five judges who were picked at random from the audience.

This free event was held at the Library on 4 October 2019.
