State Library Victoria will soon launch a new image viewer to provide an enhanced experience of more than 450,000 single pictures, maps and architectural drawings from our digitised collections.

The viewer's features include:

• a fresh and intuitive user interface
• a better experience on mobile devices
• advanced zooming and panning 
• persistent URLs
• native support for IIIF, to encourage creative re-use of images.
