Prices & Delivery

All prices quoted in the Online Shop are in Australian dollars and where applicable include GST.

Schools Periodical Service

Items supplied by the Schools Periodical Service are GST free.

The price for each item provided by the Schools Periodical Service is calculated as follows:

• a $9.00 handling and postage charge applies to each periodical article. Users can opt for their order to be sent Express Delivery for an extra $6.00.
• in addition, a fee of 10 cents per page per article is levied to meet copyright obligations. 

Orders will be processed within 7 working days. You will receive an email the day your order is posted.

If you receive a damaged, unreadable or incomplete copy of an article, please advise us within 7 days. Articles will not be re-issued later than 30 days after they have been received. The State Library will aim to re-deliver the article in question in the shortest possible time and all replacement items will be sent at our expense.

General Merchandise

For books, reports & policies, exhibition catalogues, general merchandise and issues of the La Trobe Journal, the price is displayed with the description of each item. Some items attract GST. Special prices for bulk orders may be available on application.

Please allow 7 days for processing of orders. Should the Online Shop require a delivery of goods to be split for any reason, there will be only one postal charge levied per order per delivery address.

Within Australia

All parcels despatched from the Online Shop are sent by ordinary mail. Please note that the postage charge will be levied once with each order for each delivery address. Postage and handling is charged at $7.00 (to the one address within Australia).

International Delivery

Postage and handling is charged at $25.00 Economy rate (to one international address). Expected delivery time is 4-6 weeks from time of despatch.

Insurance

A basic charge of $3.00 (for each $100.00 worth of goods or part thereof) is added to each order.
