Where’s my movie?
Tim Pegler is in the doghouse, that is to say, he is writer-in-residence at insideadog this month.
Right now Tim wants to know, what ever happened to the movie of Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist?
Tim is the author of the excellent Game as Ned and was a champion contributor to CYL’s Booktalkers session on Tuesday. Subscribers braved the dire weather and defied the calls to ‘get out of the city’ to hear Tim, Kirsty Murray, Don Henderson, Sue Saliba and Kate McCaffrey on the theme of influences.

It was great to hear these new-ish and emerging writers (Kirsty I think is pretty firmly established) offer such a wide chart of influences. Everything from a childhood correspondence with Ivan Southall to the novels of Margurite Duras to Go Ask Alice. A whole lot more about Tim here.
Big cheers for our subscribers especially, for making it a great, enjoyable night.

According to IMDB, the Australian release date is the 12th of March… but I don’t see it listed on any of the cinema websites. :(

Make a big noise Tim, and get it released. I have a sad sinking feeling it will be a straight-to-dvd release. Sigh…
Think it was overwhelmed by twilight.
