It’s Different For Girls*
This special program brings together four of Australia’s leading writers: JC Burke, Sue Lawson, Julia Lawrinson and Maureen McCarthy, and also features scenes performed from some of their books. These writers place the lives of women and girls at the heart of their stories. Highly recommended for girls, and guys are welcome too, of course.

Assuming that it’s a reference to a book, I think there was a UK novel about a couple of teenage girls 2-3 years back by Jo Brand. If not, the best I can think of is the Joe Jackson song with that title.
