The Centre for Youth Literature’s 2008 program is now available.

Highlights include:

Booktalkers Meet the Authors on 4 March with Sean Condon, Elizabeth Fensham, Lee Fox, Allayne Webster and James Roy. Plus black dog books publisher Andrew Kelly

The stunning tour by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, bringing Shaun Tan’s The Arrival to Melbourne in partnership with the Arts Centre (April 29 - May 2)

Novel Ideas, a professional development seminar on book selection for the classroom (May 23) featuring Morris Gleitzman, Maria Boyd and leading national book professionals

It’s Different for Girls with Maureen McCarthy, JC Burke, Julia Lawrinson and Sue Lawson, talking about the stories that matter for girls (May 1)

And a whole lot more. Our program stretches over the whole year…Why just confine yourself to a week in August?
