Terms & Conditions
1. Where the Library is not the copyright holder of the item, it is the responsibility of the customer to secure permission. The Library Board of Victoria accepts no responsibility for any infringement of copyright originating from the use of copies of material the State Library holds.
2. The State Library of Victoria reserves the right to limit the total number of copies supplied at one time.
3. The State Library of Victoria reserves the right to supply the most suitable copying service in respect of the material in its care, or to refuse permission for copying if this is likely to damage the item. The final decision about suitability for copying is made by the Library before the order is processed.
4. The State Library of Victoria reserves the right to make surcharges for extra work required in copying or processing orders. Customers will be notified before the order is commenced.
5. An order for a copying service cannot be changed by a customer once the work has commenced. A new order must be placed and paid for.
6. A customer who cancels an order will not be refunded once work has commenced.
7. Within copyright only one copy of each item can be supplied per customer.
