Queen's Hall

One of Melbourne's most beautiful 19th-century interiors, Queen's Hall features grand columns, ornate plasterwork and elaborate chandeliers. It is accessed from the Library's main foyer via a sweeping marble staircase, and past the magnificent murals by Septimus Power and Napier Waller.

Queen's Hall can accommodate 200 people for cocktail functions and 120 for sit-down functions.

Floor area

The floor area of Queen's Hall's central foyer is 180 square metres. An additional 30 square metres is available in the north wing for staging and a dance floor.

Availability

Queen's Hall is available seven days a week. There is a three-hour minimum hire period.

Facilities & services

Venue hire includes basic furniture, signage, venue set-up, support and security.
